Devereux and Company is seeking a CPA or CPA candidate with three to fifteen years of experience to manage tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory services to a diversified client base focused on privately held businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a public accounting background in tax compliance, research and planning to contribute to the growth of our company.
Job Description
- Minimum 3 years of recent work experience with a public accounting firm
- Must be a CPA or CPA candidate
- Basic knowledge of tax accounting and tax law is expected
- Auditing experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt to different software tools for project management and workflow
- Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a paperless office with advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to work overtime as required throughout the year
- Ability to actively maintain client relationships and provide timely service
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to teamwork and leadership
